As a makeup line that celebrates Greek heritage and positively addresses the realities women face in the cosmetic industry, Voula aspires to build a digital experience not only visually engaging, but also content-rich and inspiring. Digital Networking: Food For Thought
Introducing ‘Food for Thought’, an exclusive global sharing network for Pepsi Foodservice International. Our goal when developing this new platform was to create access across the globe between markets, and to inspire creativity and innovation. PepsiCo now has the ability to share ideas, creative assets and best practices in real-time, taking collaboration to a whole new level. Along with robust search capabilities, ‘Food for Thought’ is a powerful enabler of networking and idea sharing dedicated to building global partnerships, while creating continuity for their brands worldwide.
Events: The Perfect Pair
As part of their annual marketing planning meeting, we teamed up with PepsiCo to create highly memorable installations for their foodservice partners. Attendees were reminded of this proud partnership and how committed PepsiCo is to being the ‘perfect pairing.’ Each installation showcased creativity with branded elements (video, posters, t-shirts, coasters, neck hangers) and encouraged interaction with attendees through a mixology station and product sampling.
Social Media & Events: DASHA
We’ve been starting the conversation online for DASHA, a luxury lifestyle wellness center adhering to truly holistic approaches to health and well-being. At the core, DASHA is about having a true understanding that a healthy lifestyle is a result of making positive changes in all aspects of life. Social media is where we’re starting the conversation, events is where we’re picking it back up, and there’s plenty more to come.
Guerilla Marketing Campaign: Sierra Mist Score & Pour Challenge
This past March, we developed and activated the Sierra Mist Score & Pour Challenge, an engaging experiential marketing campaign to capitalize on the excitement of college hoops. The focus was on driving top of mind awareness and boosting social media buzz for Sierra Mist®. The program, titled the Sierra Mist Score & Pour Challenge, took place over three days in two markets: Anaheim, CA and New York, NY.
Each day, a fully branded truck with two basketball hoops and a scoreboard traveled to high traffic locations, including Pan Pacific Recreational Center and Madison Square Garden, which proved to be hot spots.
Brand ambassadors invited fans to see how many shots they could make in 35 seconds. Each challenge participant received a Sierra Mist backpack filled with branded premiums. Throughout the activation period, people gathered at each location to watch, play and enjoy refreshing Sierra Mist.
The program had strong engagement with over 8,000 product samples distributed and more than 1,000 participants in the Score & Pour Challenge. Additionally, for every shot made, Sierra Mist donated $1 to the local YMCAs.
Over the course of the program, we encouraged participants to share their experience on social media using #ScoreAndPour. Highly successful, the Sierra Mist Score & Pour Challenge resulted in over 420,000 brand impressions that included intimate connections, word-of mouth and branded vehicle impressions.
A big congratulations to our grand prize winner for scoring 22 baskets in 35 seconds and winning a trip to the men’s hoops finals where he got to taste the action live.
Canopy & Biomet Join Together
We are extremely excited to announce the arrival of our newest client, Biomet Bone Healing, a division of Biomet, Inc., one of the world’s leading medical device manufacturers. Biomet, Inc. specializes in reconstructive products for hips and knees, trauma fixation devices, bone healing technologies, dental implants, and spinal implants to name a few. Biomet Bone Healing, specifically, offers technologies that are transforming the way surgeons help patients in the areas of fracture management and spine fusion. Most recently, Biomet was acquired by the Zimmer Group for $14 billion (yowza!). We will be doing everything from market research and branding, to full-service marketing for the business.

Canopy Hires Bobby Nooromid, Account Director
We’re excited to introduce new hire Bobby Nooromid as Account Director! Not only is Bobby a project manager, he is also Canopy’s in-house coffee connoisseur. Bobby will be working with the rest of the Canopy team, leading the account group and pursuing new business. Here are three facts about Bobby (in his own words): 1. I’m a coffee connoisseur because I like trying all different types wherever I can and have been to over 70 coffee shops and cafés in New York. 2. A first-generation American in my family (after my parents left Iran during the Revolution), I grew up in Atlanta, attended the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and have now lived in New York for over five years. 3. New Client: Ruskova
We’re proud to announce the addition of Ruskova Vodka to the Canopy family. Ruskova vodka is distilled six times, bottled and imported straight from the source, Russia.
Based on the insight, “Always a Reason,” we repositioned Ruskova from a brand that focused on its Russian heritage, to one that is all about transforming life’s most mundane moments into everyday celebrations.
The new positioning was developed into a campaign that will be activated across print advertising, POS, online and more.
New Event: Purple & White Fight Night
We created the branding and official event invitation in addition to providing social media support to help our friends at Purple and White Fight Night in the battle against cancer!
Passionate advocates, Ashley Janover and Danyelle Shapiro hosted an event to #BATTLEBACK against lung and pancreatic cancer, two diseases that have personally impacted their lives.
The event included a raffle, entertainment, fashion, food, and an auction.
Ashley and Danyelle sold 230 tickets and raised more than $20,000.
What a success!
